SCRIPT
Sameer Sharma and Sumit Batheja has penned the script for Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana.They have worked on very basic story,with light comedy.You fall in love with every character which comes on the screen.Harman (Huma Qureshi) and Omi (Kunal Kapoor)`s bitter love story is quite interesting.Screenplay has some ups and downs in second half.Second half is little slow than the enjoyable first half.Sumit Batheja has penned an enjoyable dialogues in punjabi,hindi and bengali language."Bakwaas na kar tittu" is the theme dialogue for the film,which comes scene after scene in the film.Sameer and Sumit`s script is quite interesting but it will dissappoint you in the ending portion.
STAR PERFORMANCES
This is one of the film which makes it easier to pick your favourite child than choose your favourite actor.Everyone does so well on screen that makes the performances outstanding.Kunal Kapoor is brilliant as the lovable rascal.Huma is excellent as his Ex-lover and soon to be his sister-in-law.Rajendra sethi is okay as Omi`s uncle.Dolly Ahlluwalia (Vicky Donor fame) has a small but nice role as a the god woman aunt.Last but not the least,Rajendra Sharma (Tittu mama) is extraodinary as comic figure in the film.
MUSIC
The genius music composer,Amit Trivedi,is once again on top of his game with the music.He used traditional punjabi folk and modern hip-hop with huge fitness in the songs like Kikli Kalerdi and "Gud kha ke".Shellee`s lyrics are outstanding.Anil Mehta`s has captured a film with huge simplicity as an cinematographer.Deepa Bhatia`s editing is sharp.
DIRECTION
Captain of the ship,Sameer Sharma,did every effort to make this film worth watching.He managed his ship with his unique style of narration.It may not be a great story,but his direction made it entertaining.
LAST WORD
If you are fan of Anurag Kashyap`s cinema and Amit Trivedi`s music,then must taste this chicken with "chutki of love and emotions".
BOX OFFICE COLLECTION
UTV Spotboy (division of Disney UTV studios) has invested 12 crore rupees in this film.Besides the good word of mouth,film is not doing well on the box office.This chicken can be bitter for UTV and tasty for Anurag Kashyap Films PVT. LTD.Because Anurag is already in profit,after selling this film to UTV.
